About the Project & Framework

Strengthening educational governance, citizen participation and social accountability

PRO-SAcEPI aims to strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations to promote transparency, citizen participation, and accountability in the education sector. Through the collection of evidence from the field, the project aims to produce reliable analyses that can inform public decision-making and foster sustainable improvements in education policies across The Gambia.

🎯 Required Profile

  • Nationality & Age: Must be of Gambian nationality and at least 18 years old
  • Academic Qualification: Minimum Baccalaureate / High School Certificate (WASSCE) or equivalent qualification
  • Digital Equipment: Possess a functional smartphone and be comfortable operating digital survey tools
  • Availability: Fully available throughout the 1-month data collection period and capable of working under pressure
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and at least one local national language of the chosen work area (Mandinka, Wolof, Fula, Jola, Serahule, etc.)
  • Field Experience: Prior experience in data collection or training in geography, cartography, or sociology is an asset

📋 Duties & Conditions

  • Field Surveys: Conduct in-person questionnaires and interviews with target schools, community members, and beneficiaries
  • Digital Data Entry: Administer mobile data collection tools ensuring precision and accuracy
  • Quality Control: Contribute to data reliability, integrity, and daily synchronizations
  • Reporting: Transmit daily updates and field logs to the zonal coordination team
  • Total Remuneration: 88,500 GMD (paid at 2,950 GMD/day)
  • Field Travel Support: 2,500 GMD travel allowance for mission mobility
  • Professional ID: Official secure QR code badge provided for all accredited field personnel
